This is a photo of me and my cat Guinness at the Animal Shelter on the day I adopted her from the Bedford County Humane Society. Guinness lived at the shelter for six months, and was scheduled to be euthanized to make room for other animals.  She lived with me at Shippensburg while I was in college. When my roommate, Matt, met her, his first comment was, "Man, she looks as good as a cold pint of Guinness". The name stuck, and she seems to like it..  Guinness is one mean pussy cat. She used to terrorize everyone who visited our apartment. Her favorite indoor sport is biting the feet of women who wear sandals. It's very entertaining to watch!
