Keep Your Kids Safe on the Internet 
Parents should supervise what their children are doing online.
You should always be aware of what your child is viewing and who they are talking to.

My best advice is to place the computer so that you can easily see the screen.
The computer should be in the living room, kitchen, or family room,
not in a teenager's bedroom.
